Joel and Kates wedding.

Valentines weekend spent in Dallas.
My beautiful husband picked out my outfit.
I adore him.

The holidays were spend with family in Henderson. Hunting, cooking, laughing, jam sessions and  making memories.
It was our first Christmas and Thanksgiving as a married couple.

In January i started taking my real estate courses for work.
This year we set a large goal and if met, we could go on a cruise with our spouses to Mexico.
We hit it.
Unfortunately Colby couldn't come with me because he could not miss nursing school.
I brought my sweet friend Carly, and as you can tell by the pictures, it was beautiful.

Colbys dad, while i was in Mexico, had open heart surgery. He is home safe now and on the mend. If you believe in prayer. Send one up for Mike, he has a rough road ahead of him.

So, from November to February, we have been go go go non stop. Holidays, a new job promotion for me, cruise to mexico, hospital trips and heart surgery..we decided we needed to get away for the weekend.

Dallas it was. We love Dallas. Everything about Dallas.

Colby didn't tell me where we were going, he picked out my outfit and we were headed to Deep Elum. We ended up at a restaurant called Twenty Seven. If you've heard of the Twenty Seven Club, its sort of based off that. The chef is an absolute genius. If you're looking for something underground and hipster. Check them out.

With the hustle and bustle of life starting to get back to normal, i find myself constantly thanking God for my life, the breath in my lungs and my husband.

Cheers

COLDPLAY

In case you didn't know, Coldplay is my favorite band.

For years i have patiently awaited their long overdue return to the United States.

And on January 29th, i got a secret pre-sale code that allowed me to buy tickets early.

I waited by my computer counting down the seconds and was literally shaking and almost in tears.

4 tickets later and I'm finally living my dream of seeing them live. And in Dallas.

Music was my first "worldly" love. It got me through the dark days of my life.

Sometimes i get frustrated with it and i won't listen for days. Other times, I'm playing an album on repeat and it never gets old.

There is just something about music that touches my soul.
God gave me the gift of recognizing the important things in my life and holding onto them.
Silly as it may be, music is one of those very important things.

So if you love music, and you love Coldplay, ill see you in Dallas.
